You've heard Dave & Darren thank the "turtles" who make their show happen, but what exactly IS a turtle? A turtle is anyone willing to stick their neck out for the Dave & Darren Show. The idea came from the Ancient and Honorable Order of Turtles, a group that supposedly goes back to World War II pilots looking to amuse themselves while relaxing with a cool drink between missions.

If anyone asks you if you are a turtle, the ONLY acceptable answer is "You bet your sweet ass I am!" If the you are unable or unwilling to provide the correct answer, you owe to any turtle present a drink of the their choice.
